Today, abandoned dogs are triggering a chain reaction that threatens native wildlife, poisons Andean Condors and disrupts ecological balance. They provide water for millions of people and shelter iconic wildlife such as the Andean Condor, Spectacled Bear, Puma, Mountain Tapir and White-tailed Deer.
This is not only an animal welfare crisis. It is a biodiversity crisis.
